National Director, Field Marketing
Job Overview
Exciting opportunity at our corporate office in Bloomington, MN.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for strategy, planning, budgeting, presentation, execution, and measurement of regional, DMA-based, and local store marketing initiatives to help franchisees and the company reach same-store sales, profit, and brand development goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, franchisee leadership, regional agencies, and vendors.
Hire, train, coach/develop, and evaluate the field marketing team.
Gain and maintain support, trust, and respect of all key constituents.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and scale strategic plans, roadmaps, and execution of field marketing.
- Drive consistent year-over-year sales and increased profitability.
- Develop an annual marketing communication plan for localized initiatives.
- Oversee local media planning and budgeting (working with the national media team).
- Hold agencies accountable for media buying performance.
- Develop and execute marketing plans for new store development.
- Enhance the DQ systems field agency structure and processes.
- Provide subject matter expertise in creative needs and media planning.
Elevation of Local Store Marketing
- Develop tools for local efforts to extend national promotions.
- Oversee local store marketing strategy and tools for franchisees (geofenced digital marketing, coupon marketing, etc.).
- Offer trade area surveys and root cause analysis.
- Develop and execute cross-functional projects and programs.
- Collaborate to improve new store marketing performance.
- Grow franchisee fundraising efforts.
Brand Initiative Communication
- Collaborate with the Operations team on strategies to meet corporate sales goals.
- Develop and implement integrated business plans for assigned markets.
- Provide business and financial analysis to internal and external shareholders (comp sales, trends, results).
- Support participation in the national marketing calendar and National Marketing Fund.
- Plan, produce, and execute communications with franchisees and leaders.
Management of Field Marketing Professionals
- Coach and advise team members.
- Hire high-performing staff.
- Conduct onboarding and training.
- Establish performance expectations and monitor progress.
- Recognize contributions and celebrate accomplishments.
- Prioritize tasks, eliminate roadblocks, and provide solutions.
Education & Experience
- BA/BS in Business Management, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible Marketing experience, with Field Marketing experience.
- Experience managing a field-based marketing team is preferred.
- Experience in local media planning, buying, and reconciliation.
- Experience managing agency relationships.

Job Specifications
- Travel required (25-30%).
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Salary
US national base salary range: $141,411 - $176,764.
Bonus eligible.
Individual pay based on skills, location, and experience.
