National Brand Manager is responsible for driving consistent profitable growth by achieving and exceeding sales objectives.
The National Brand Manager partners with high-revenue accounts to develop programs to achieve maximum sales volume.
The National Brand Manager understands the needs of the clients and provides innovative solutions that exceed their expectations.
- Develop and implement local, national, or strategic sales strategies for customers, channels, and/or large geographic areas.
- Coordinate business development activities with marketing and identify new opportunities and levers to expand the portfolio.
- Responsible for clear, focused leadership to reduce barriers to delivering competitive advantage.
- Deliver short-term and long-term results to maintain organizational credibility and create opportunities for added value.
- Translate market trends and customer needs into actionable goals that create competitive advantage.
- Coordinate sales service with other service departments.
- Work with prospective customers to identify unmet needs and implement initiatives.
- Work with marketing to formulate strategy and select target markets.
- Identify prospective customers and unmet customer needs.
- Identify products and processes needed to meet customer needs.
- Establish pricing programs and strategies.
- Define the value proposition to the market, customers, and industry.
- Manage 1-2 direct reports (if applicable).
- Positively lead and influence team members to achieve individual and business goals.
- Coordinate team efforts, create and manage a regional strategy, and develop a team operating plan.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 5+ years practical sales experience with quota responsibility, market development, account planning, client engagement, etc.
- Self-starter, driven sales professional with strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong product knowledge of RFID and supply chain solutions is beneficial
- Successful experience in a sales position involving complex transactions with upper-level management
- Apparel industry and large retailer experience preferred
- Skilled in developing sales penetration and growth strategies at targeted accounts
- Excellent financial skills and business acumen
- Skilled in conducting territory analysis and planning
- Able to provide strategic recommendations independently
- Skilled in communicating effectively with all levels of management on complex business issues
