Responsibilities:
- Offtake negotiations (including term sheets) with potential offtakers.
- Conclusion of final offtake agreements for hydrogen derivatives (e-ammonia, e-SAF, e-methanol) projects.
- Development of bankability and financing concepts for Power-to-X projects.
- Building a strong network with offtakers and stakeholders.
- Application of (sovereign/financial) support mechanisms.
- Integration of logistics into offtake contracts.
- Organization of Enertrag PtX product tenders.
- Incorporating market insights and Enertrag project developments into the negotiation process.
- Ensuring the integration of offtake perspectives into project development (logistics, certification, financial model inputs, tender support).
- Development of offtake contracts to secure bankability of large projects.
- Market data analysis, report writing, and summarization of key findings for colleagues and management.
- Networking and participation in industry events and policy development.
- Effective communication with stakeholders and identification of appropriate contacts for deal-making.
- Experience with trading new products/markets and analysis of policy developments.
Qualifications:
- University degree in (Industrial) Engineering, Economics, or related field.
- Fluency in written and spoken English; other relevant languages (German, Spanish, French, Korean, Japanese, Chinese) a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably including commodity trading and/or offtake contract development.
- Proven ability to secure bankability for large investment projects is highly desirable.
- Understanding of renewable energy generation, hydrogen production/distribution, and derivative production.
- Strong analytical, networking, and communication skills.
