Full-Time Paralegal 2024-7440

Paralegal supporting the Corporate Underwriting Product department.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting and proofreading insurance policy language.
• Ensuring policy language adheres to company policies, product development standards, and compliance requirements.
• Maintaining product development standards and managing insurance form attribute assignment.
• Assisting with insurance legal research and analysis.
• Conducting product research and creating competitor form comparisons.
• Developing user-friendly tools for Product Management & Field Underwriting staff.
• Interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing ongoing task/project reports.
• Developing and implementing strategies for optimizing efficiency and quality.

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
• Working knowledge of Property & Casualty insurance.
• Organizational skills for managing multiple contracts and projects.

Technical Skills:

• Microsoft Word: 3+ (Required)
• Microsoft Excel: 3 (Required)
• Microsoft PowerPoint: 3 (Required)
• Westlaw or Lexis/Nexis: 2 (Required)
• SERFF or SP Global Insurance tools: 2 (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree or related field.
