McFadyen Digital is hiring its first ever Partner Marketing Director.
We are looking for someone who will be excited to break new ground, establish new processes, and drive the success of our partner relationships. The right person will be responsible for working with existing partners to deepen our relationships, grow our marketing activities together, keep the partners in the know, advocate internally for internal competency and ultimately drive more business through our partner channels.
Given this is a new role, you will collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to establish and lead your role.
The role has a dual function in that it is a partner marketing role and includes partner manager duties for up to six to seven partners.
This role will develop and propose a strategy with tactics to increase sales and awareness within the partner community.
Our goal is to establish and build a synergistic ecosystem which drives growth.
Top 5 Responsibilities:
- Relationship building: Build and maintain relationships with our technology partners to source opportunities and pipeline for McFadyen Digital that drive revenue.
- Co-marketing campaign development: Drive co-branded marketing activities with partners. Collaborate with partners to conceptualize, plan, and execute joint marketing campaigns across various channels like email, social media, content marketing and physical events.
- Partner Enablement: Engage with partners at multiple levels, especially the field level, to educate them on our value proposition and provide key details to help them understand the why and how to leverage McFadyen.
- Internal Enablement: Engage with internal teams (sales, marketing, strategy, and delivery) to optimize joint selling and marketing strategies for driving revenue through the partner ecosystem. This includes communications for upcoming campaigns and training/certification management.
- Partner Measurement: Establish clearly defined goals for each partner relationship, and update and maintain proper reporting metrics and track deal registration and payout.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Keep abreast of partner organizations, changes, challenges, opportunities and new ways to develop business together.
- Partner internally with Sales, Marketing, and Strategy leaders to define & execute near-, mid- and long-term plans to drive revenue from partnerships.
- Provide leadership and inspire the McFadyen organization for channel sales, partnerships, and alliance management.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate partner performance, sales pipeline, and revenue generation.
- Regularly track and report on results, providing insights and recommendations for optimization and improvement.
- Stay at the forefront of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies related to system integration and eCommerce.
- Leverage market insights to identify new partnership opportunities and drive innovation within our partner ecosystem.
- Be directly responsible for delivering and increasing partner-driven and partner-influenced revenue
- Work with sales and marketing to drive partner engagement with McFadyen Digital.
- Work closely with the business development team for target outreach and meet event attendance goals.
- Work with Global Delivery to ensure training and certifications for different partnerships are up to date.
- Collaboratively drive partner sales, marketing, and project delivery strategies to accelerate business growth.
- Assist with researching our acquisition of small companies to grow our offerings.
- Manage existing processes and create new processes in all functional areas as needed.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in alliance and channel marketing and/or management roles within the software industry.
- Extensive experience in developing and executing alliance and channel strategies, with a focus on working with eCommerce technologies.
- Deep understanding of the SaaS industry, including software delivery models, cloud technologies, and enterprise software solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships, channel sales, and alliance programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to be both strategic and tactical.
- Negotiation tact required when dealing with partners.
- Possess innovative, creative, and entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Proven ability to effectively interact with and forge relationships with team members, clients and vendors at all levels of the organization.
- Must be a team player, able to meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision, but be accountable for results.
- Experience with specific software partners: Mirakl, Adobe Commerce / Magento, commercetools, Salesforce.com, Oracle, SAP, Shopify, BigCommerce, VTEX, CommerceHub, ChannelAdvisor, LogicBroker, or Marketplacer.
