Job Overview
Seeking a Principal Product Manager to join our growing team and potentially become a Partner Lead. This role will be heavily partner-focused, collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute an effective product process. You'll work closely with partners, defining problems, and building solutions aligned with their business priorities and user needs.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced knowledge of agile and lean practices, constantly improving delivery.
- Proactively address risks and roadblocks.
- Deliver partner excellence.
- Possess broad product management skills, experienced in shipping web-based products in startup and enterprise environments, working well with distributed teams.
- Employ a lean approach, identifying and validating riskiest assumptions.
- Prioritize shortening feedback loops (user, partner, planning/production).
- Define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs).
- Be data-driven, setting measurable success criteria, using data analytics, and deriving actionable insights.
- Solve problems creatively, break down complex problems into elegant solutions, and motivate the team through clear communication.
- Collaboratively involve diverse backgrounds and skill sets, incorporating various perspectives.
- Demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, tailoring communication to the audience.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience shipping digital products.
- Strong experience in software product management.
- Strong client relationship and external stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with AI technology (preferred).
- Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to break down complex business problems, build project plans and product specifications, and identify simple solutions focused on user needs.
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills, able to sell ideas to collaborators and executives.
- Passion for digital products and knowledge of contemporary design patterns and best practices.
- Humility and willingness to take ownership of clearing obstacles.
- Comfort with ambiguous requirements and shifting priorities.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- US legal work authorization.
- 100% remote within the US; minimal travel may be required.
Compensation
Salary range: $155,000 - $170,000 USD.
