Product Director - Consumer Lending Solutions manages the entire life cycle of product development for assigned products, encompassing strategy, planning, and project leadership to achieve business goals.
- Lead Cross-functional Development Projects: Works as Project Lead on complex product projects involving Engineering and other vendors or functions. Develops project plans with performance indicators and reports updates to stakeholders.
- Financial Review & Price Modeling: Conducts financial analysis for product viability, develops business cases with pricing models, collaborates with finance teams to track profitability, mitigate risks, and optimize pricing.
- Set Strategy: Collaborates with VP Product and senior leaders to develop product strategies aligned with financial goals, supporting strategic initiatives like new product development and enhancements.
- Deliver Products to Market: Leads go-to-market processes for product features, betas, or releases, ensuring operational alignment, pricing, marketing, financial models, manufacturing, and Sales training.
- Evaluate Ideas: Evaluates product ideas for differentiation, customer demand, and business feasibility, ensuring compliance with regulations and data security requirements.
- Create + Communicate Roadmaps: Supports quarterly product roadmap planning, defining features and projects within capacity constraints.
- Prioritize Features: Maintains or improves product efficacy and business process efficiency by consulting and providing input to the product owner.
Education: Bachelor's Degree (Required); Master's Degree (Preferred). Experience and education considered.
Experience: Extensive knowledge and experience with financial institution/fintech issues (Required). Knowledge of emerging technologies (AI tools, Confluence, JIRA, Microsoft Office) (Required). 8+ years prior leadership and management experience required.
Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, financial, and innovation skills required. Leadership, problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making capabilities are also essential.
