THE POSITION: This role helps the organization meet revenue goals by understanding the competitive landscape, identifying key targets, and creating integrated proposals for commercialization of a client's product(s). This position is responsible for guiding cross-functional teams in creating commercial assessments & solutions to improve customer experience and generate revenue for EVERSANA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive execution of all product lifecycle processes (product/market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements, roadmap development) to achieve revenue goals.
- Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, marketing and sales efforts (tactics, targets, support materials, resources, functional areas).
- Create product strategy documents (business cases, high-level use cases, requirements, revenue, ROI).
- Develop product positioning and messaging differentiating EVERSANA across market segments.
- Create PowerPoint content and collaborate with marketing for standardized materials.
- Support market assessments for opportunities, including strategy and content (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) for proactive proposals.
- Own/manage the revenue due diligence process and recommend to leadership.
- Validate financial assumptions, ensuring revenue and cost totals support the strategy.
- Lead/advise BD and BU leads through commercial/functional solution development.
- Support awareness/outreach activities (research, whitepapers, proposals, targeting, conferences).
- Work cross-functionally (marketing, finance, data & analytics, consulting, agency).
- Demonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
PEOPLE LEADER:
- Responsible for department oversight.
- Interview, select, and supervise staff.
- Communicate company policies and procedures.
- Determine job objectives, work methods, and performance standards.
- Review performance, discuss appraisals, authorize salary changes, promotions, and other personnel actions.
EXPECTATIONS:
- Travel (5-10%)
- Hours (M-F, minimum 40 hours/week, flexible above 40 hours depending on priorities).
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred, 5+ years related experience, or equivalent.
- Experience in outsourced commercial services to the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience working in, selling to, or interacting with biotech, SMID, and large pharma.
- Understanding of the life sciences product lifecycle and services.
- Strategic thinking and creativity.
- Strong interpersonal skills and leading through influence.
- Ability to take initiative and ownership.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Occasional travel to EVERSANA facilities, clients, and industry events.
- Advanced Excel skills for analysis, formulas, referenced cells, graphs, pivot tables, and PowerPoint content development.
- Ability to utilize industry databases, analyze data, and communicate conclusions to leadership.
