Full-Time Product Marketing Manager

About the Team - Marketing: The marketing team promotes Mirantis and its commercial offerings to prospects, customers, and the wider community. This involves creating brand awareness, supporting product-led growth, generating leads, and fostering customer loyalty. Open source projects are also promoted to increase community engagement and adoption.

Product Marketing Team Focus: Container solutions, cloud-native virtualization, and multicluster management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of product marketing for one or more products, collaborating with product managers and stakeholders.
• Prepare materials for product launches and releases (website content, datasheets, blogs, whitepapers, presentations, videos, emails, etc.).
• Develop user-centric materials for product-led growth (tutorials, guides, videos, etc.).
• Create sales enablement materials (messaging, presentations, FAQs, sales playbooks, competitive analyses, conversation guides, etc.).
• Organize and present sales enablement activities.
• Contribute to demand generation campaigns (webinar abstracts, landing pages, emails, social posts, eBooks, infographics, tutorials, etc.).
• Create and publish case studies, including customer outreach, information gathering, content creation, and legal release.
• Assist with PR/AR activities (press release content, bylines, customer outreach).
• Support materials and promotional activities related to open source projects.
• Create event-related materials (website content, handouts, signage, event messaging).
• Assist with partner marketing content and activities (website content, partner portal content, press releases, collateral, speaking proposals, webinars, etc.).
• Support other marketing activities as needed.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in product marketing, content marketing, or technical documentation, preferably related to cloud computing.
• Experience with Linux command line, Linux desktop/server installation, basic IaaS cloud operations, deployment automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub, and coding in BASH, HTML+CSS+Javascript, Python, and/or GoLang.
• Familiarity with open source technologies and community mechanics.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes concepts.
• Strong technical writing skills for technical audiences.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter, dedicated, and persistent.
