Freshworks seeks a Product Marketing Manager to lead competitive messaging and enablement. You'll own competitive positioning, arming sales, marketing, and product teams with insights, content, and tools for market success.
Key Responsibilities:
Experience Requirements: 7+ years in product marketing, competitive intelligence, or related GTM role in a B2B SaaS or enterprise software company. Proven track record developing compelling competitive messaging and enablement programs.
Skills Required: Strong cross-functional collaboration, exceptional communication skills, analytical mindset, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with sales enablement platforms (e.g., Highspot, Seismic); knowledge of ITSM markets.
Compensation: $144,700-$208,035 USD Base Salary + Variable Compensation (where applicable) . Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, equity, ESPP, flexible PTO, flexible spending, commuter benefits, wellness benefits, adoption and parental leave.
Key Responsibilities:
- Competitive Intelligence & Insights: Lead development and refinement of competitive intelligence for ITSM products; provide actionable insights for GTM teams. Conduct research to analyze competitor strategies, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats; track industry trends, customer feedback, and analyst reports.
- Messaging & Positioning: Craft differentiated competitive messaging positioning Freshworks solutions as leaders. Develop clear positioning frameworks to enable effective sales communication; partner with marketing teams to ensure competitive positioning is reflected in websites and campaigns.
- Sales Enablement: Build, maintain, and scale a competitive enablement toolkit (battle cards, messaging guides, FAQs, pitch decks). Train GTM teams on messaging and objection handling; collaborate with sales enablement for onboarding and learning programs; develop sales plays and competitive takeout campaigns.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product management, sales, customer success, analyst relations, and broader marketing teams. Support product launches and campaigns by incorporating competitive messaging.
