Job Details

We are looking for a Regional Account Manager to build and develop broad deep relationships with L&G’s key Wholesale target accounts, ensuring a long term strategic relationship is maintained through proactive business planning including negotiating the appropriate commercial terms whilst coordinating the internal support resource and its deployment.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales performance targets, delivering revenue by compliant product distribution
  • Developing a pro-active contact strategy for a portfolio of intermediaries, delivering the agreed revenue targets
  • Generating client leads for the Key Account Managers by securing appointments and attendees at events, ensuring client’s expectations are delivered
  • Building and maintaining a portfolio of Intermediaries, acting as the primary relationship manager.
  • Working with the Key Account Managers and the sales support team in identifying and developing new Intermediary relationships.
  • Maintaining good knowledge of L&G -Asset Management’s product range, investment philosophy and process, working closely with the fund management team where necessary
Who we’re looking for:
  • Good investment product knowledge and a clear understanding of the types of products typically used by Investment Managers for this client base
  • Good understanding of investment processes and philosophies
  • Detailed knowledge of Intermediaries and their business drivers.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Finscape would be desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner
  • Previous telephone sales and/or client relationship/servicing skills are essential
  • Ability to manage workflow and contact calendar to ensure follow up to all sales calls in a timely manner
