The Regional Account Manager is responsible for selling life science products and services across designated regions and market segments. The role requires a mix of sales skills, scientific proficiency, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Pipeline Management: Generate and qualify prospects, support marketing strategies.
- Direct Sales: Lead sales process, network with clients, develop proposals.
- Strategic Selling: Understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
- Client Management: Manage relationships, generate revenue, identify opportunities.
- Industry and Product Knowledge: Maintain understanding of industry trends.
- Business Development: Support product management and business development efforts.
- Salesforce.com Reporting: Provide timely sales and pipeline inputs.
- Other Duties: Address corporate initiatives as requested.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in biological or life sciences, business management, or related field.
- 2+ years of sales success in the life sciences industry.
- Experience managing new and established accounts.
- Proficiency in managing complex sales processes.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with SalesForce.com.
- Strong product knowledge and sales experience in Life Science products.
- Experience selling into regulated markets.
- Experience in managing capital equipment.
