Job Details

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for selling life science products and services across designated regions and market segments. The role requires a mix of sales skills, scientific proficiency, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline Management: Generate and qualify prospects, support marketing strategies.
  • Direct Sales: Lead sales process, network with clients, develop proposals.
  • Strategic Selling: Understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
  • Client Management: Manage relationships, generate revenue, identify opportunities.
  • Industry and Product Knowledge: Maintain understanding of industry trends.
  • Business Development: Support product management and business development efforts.
  • Salesforce.com Reporting: Provide timely sales and pipeline inputs.
  • Other Duties: Address corporate initiatives as requested.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in biological or life sciences, business management, or related field.
  • 2+ years of sales success in the life sciences industry.
  • Experience managing new and established accounts.
  • Proficiency in managing complex sales processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to travel.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience with SalesForce.com.
  • Strong product knowledge and sales experience in Life Science products.
  • Experience selling into regulated markets.
  • Experience in managing capital equipment.
