Regional Industrial Director – West will develop and execute business development strategies to grow industrial business, lead a team of industrial Field Account Managers (FAMs), and ensure effective pipeline management.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing business development strategies.
- Leading a team of industrial sales managers.
- Ensuring effective pipeline management.
- Strengthening customer relations.
- Continuously growing revenue.
- Bringing new business.
- Managing sales optimization.
- Managing the sales pipeline.
- Providing support to Field Account Managers.
- Providing insights to the Managing Director of Americas.
- Participating in the development of sales strategies.
- Directing and managing acquisition of new customers and growth of existing business.
- Ensuring sales team leverages sales methodology and tools.
- Working cross-functionally to deploy and enable adoption of processes, tools, and training.
- Collaborating with product creation and marketing.
- Leveraging insights and analytics for resource deployment, pipeline management, and strategy development.
- Managing assigned staff (goals, expectations, roles, responsibilities, coaching, performance, development, salary, policies, recruiting, onboarding).
- Achieving financial objectives (forecasting, budgeting, scheduling, analyzing variances, corrective actions).
- Managing and growing relationships to drive expansion and renewals.
- Coaching and managing expansion of account base.
- Collaborating with key account managers to expand PPE offerings.
- Managing and growing relationships to drive expansion and renewals across all of North America.
- Leading expansion of key account base throughout North America.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in a related business field.
- 10+ years of industrial sales leadership experience.
- Specialized experience selling premium PPE products.
- Experience using a CRM (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong business acumen, financial aptitude, P&L understanding.
- Advanced knowledge of PPE products and offerings.
- 5-10 years of national account team management.
- Strong understanding of wholesale and retail partnerships.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).
- Strong ability to coach navigation of customer organizations.
- Strong commitment to building and maintaining customer relationships.
- Ability to network effectively.
- High level of ability to uncover customer needs.
- Knowledge of market and consumer trends.
- Ability to foster collaboration with key partners.
- Effective partnering with sales enablement support teams.
