The Regional Service Manager provides project management and maintenance support for Highland’s asset management objectives. This role is responsible for providing direct oversight of maintenance activities requiring expertise in administering internal and external maintenance schemes for electric vehicles and chargers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Highland’s regional bus and charger support plans for all Highland’s project portfolio.
- Direct and control the company’s fleet and maintenance activities while ensuring compliance with contract standards, service level agreements, OEM manuals and all local, state, and federal requirements
- Work closely with customers’ maintenance teams and dealers to ensure maintenance standards, suggested inventory levels, and effective warranty management are upheld
- Accountable for asset availability and make appropriate repair decisions to maximize asset uptime and minimize total cost of ownership
- Apply maintenance KPI metric reporting such as PM compliance, Labor Utilization, and CPMs to drive overall uptime and reduce operational cost
- Supervise Highland’s Maintenance and Technician teams to achieve company’s reliability, P&L, and inventory variance objectives
- Assist in development and implementation of maintenance quality initiatives and influence operating procedures
- Develop and implement Highland’s quality inspection and audit programs to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Ensure staff is properly equipped and trained regarding tooling and PPE to perform necessary repairs
- Leverage P&L understanding to assist with maintenance forecasting and budgeting, and development of maintenance underwriting models
Qualifications:
- College degree or 7+ years of relevant Fleet experience
- 5 years maintenance management experience, preferably in a multi-site environment
- 5 years of fleet Supervisor experience in a Diesel Shop with Medium to Heavy duty fleets
- ASE Master Certification preferred
- Basic understanding of electric vehicle maintenance requirements
- Experience managing vendors and service level agreements
