Scope of Position: Project Cargo regional operations manager will work to develop business opportunities by performing daily tasks in operations, pricing and new business development of Project Cargo Services.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
This person will serve in a business development and operational capacity. Responsibilities will include:
- Pricing & customer development support.
- Management of Specialized Cargo.
- Work with various products to facilitate and manage shipments.
- Planning and execution of shipments managed within the team.
- Ensure compliance with all internal procedures as well as all government regulations.
- Prepare transportation documents.
- Tracing / tracking of shipments
- Onsite support in supervision of loading, packing, and project execution.
- Accurate and timely billing.
- Customer service & relationship development.
- Vendor negotiations & relationship development.
- Overseas communications.
- Self-development - 52 hours of required training per year.
