Regional Sales Manager is the main interface between Sirtex and its customers.
Primary functions: prospect, initiate new accounts, service existing accounts, and manage all aspects of account management, including supply chain, receivables, training, problem-solving, and assisting accounts. Ultimate account responsibility and meeting a pre-determined sales quota are also required.
Regulatory compliance is also required by conveying customer needs and requirements, reporting incidents, and handling product complaints.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing account plans for key accounts and partners; generating strategic relationships resulting in sales within assigned territory; presentations and training for healthcare professionals; developing an understanding of market unique to assigned territory; continuous education on disease states and business environment; continuous education on clinical articles; developing relationships in all areas of the hospital; cultivating key relationships with healthcare providers (HCPs); exceeding business targets; developing, executing, and overseeing strategies to achieve business targets; ensuring compliance with AdvaMed; executing business meetings with HCPs; creating and maintaining accurate records and sales reports; and other duties as needed.
Requirements include a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years in medical device sales; experience in practice and program development and working with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs); ability to interact with various healthcare professionals and articulate clinical sales messages; proven sales success with recognition awards; previous relationships with Interventional Radiologists (IRs) are a plus; business development skills; ability to build and maintain relationships with internal/external customers; willingness to cover medical procedures as needed; demonstrated initiative, creativity, and resourcefulness; intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills; excellent written/verbal communication skills; self-motivation and organization; and strong attention to detail.
Travel requirements: 50-65%, including weekends/holidays.
Physical requirements: sitting, walking, standing for prolonged amounts, possible radiation exposure, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
Salary range: $115,000 - $365,000 annually (base + variable bonus).
