Regional Sales Manager

About the Role: A significant driver of company revenue and growth. Lead and drive sales engagements, motivated by solving customer security challenges. Meet and exceed quota by crafting and implementing strategic territory plans for deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles.
  • Collaborate with internal partners for superior customer service.
  • Identify business challenges and create solutions for prospects and customers.
  • Understand competitive landscape and customer needs to position Palo Alto Networks solutions.
  • Develop detailed territory plans, clear goals, and accurate forecasting.
  • Leverage prospect stories for compelling value propositions.
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends, and their impact on Palo Alto Networks products/services.
  • Travel within territory and to company meetings.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • SaaS-based architectures experience (networking/security preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in complex solutions selling, value selling, and/or consultative sales techniques to German Public Sector accounts (especially Baden-Württemberg & Bavaria).
  • Technical aptitude for understanding technology solutions.
  • Problem-solving skills: Identify, review data, determine root causes, and provide scalable solutions.
  • Strong channel partner relationships for a channel-centric go-to-market approach.
  • Deep understanding of the full sales cycle and structured sales process.
  • Holistic approach to problem-solving, considering complex interrelationships and outcomes.
  • Excellent time management, autonomy, and self-direction.
  • Strong English and German communication/presentation skills.
