Your CareerThe Regional Sales Manager (Federal and/or Civilian) drives company revenue and growth. As a dynamic sales professional, you're responsible for leading sales engagements, motivated to solve customer security challenges, connecting them to solutions for threat prevention. Meet and exceed quota by crafting and implementing strategic territory plans targeting Palo Alto Networks Next Generation Security Platform deployments. This is a chance to win business and market share by actively displacing competing technologies.
Your Impact As a Regional Sales Manager (Regional Government), you'll drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles, working with internal partners to best serve the customer. Bring consultative selling skills to initiate long-standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors. Focus on creating strategic account plans for enterprise-wide deployments. Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position Palo Alto Networks. Engage a programmatic approach to generate, develop, and expand your territory, leveraging prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition. Stay updated on industry news and trends, and their impact on Palo Alto Networks products/services. Travel as necessary within your territory and to company-wide meetings.
Your Experience Proven experience and knowledge of SaaS-based architectures, ideally in networking and/or security. Understanding of SASE technology is preferred. Cultivate mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners to implement a channel-centric go-to-market approach. Lead all aspects of the sales cycle, including uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing new, white-space territories and accounts. Regional Government experience. Proven success selling complex solutions. Excellent time management skills, autonomy, and self-direction. Highly competitive, adaptable, and focused on exceeding production goals.
