RESPONSIBILITIES:
The territory to be covered is the Mid-West region. Meet and exceed assigned sales goals. Evaluate and appoint new dealer & distribution channels. Motivate distributors to drive demand for Seek Fire Products. Drive end-user demand in assigned territory. Set sales goals and objectives with distributors/integrators and obtain timely sales forecasts. Continuously follow up on prospects and provide weekly reports (+forecast). Support distributors/integrators at local trade shows, plan and execute seminars for key customers, and conduct product demonstrations. Provide daily updates to Seek's CRM and other HQ reporting processes. Conduct sales and product training sessions for distributors. Identify and target key Fire Department customers. Manage demo equipment and monitor its condition. Negotiate dealer agreements, end-user purchase agreements, and partnerships/events. Develop lead-generating marketing activities (customer events, training, trade shows). Manage inbound leads and drive them to closure. Recruit, train, and manage manufacturer representative partners. Work with customers and internal teams for timely product delivery. Be the lead point of contact for end-users, rep group partners, assigned customers, reps, and end-users. Manage customer relationships (expectations, needs, concerns). Communicate monthly/quarterly initiative progress to stakeholders. Develop and track key customer and dealer metrics. Assist with high-severity requests/issue escalations.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to sell solutions and project manage long sales cycles. Fire channel sales experience. Start-up experience. Ability to wear multiple hats and work independently. Proven ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Strong CRM, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, and computer skills. Self-initiative and integrity. Aggressive sales professional, building trust and delivering on commitments. Experience managing channels selling technology products/hardware (preferred). Ability to learn complex technologies quickly and combine technical knowledge with strong sales and communication skills. Skilled in writing proposals, giving presentations, performing system demonstrations, forecasting, and closing transactions. Sales hunter. Ability to identify opportunities, sell value, and build long-lasting partnerships. Strategic sales professional who plans revenue growth. BA/BS degree or equivalent business experience. 5-7 years as a regional sales manager, national account manager, or territory manager selling a product in the fire channel. Thermal experience is a plus but not required.
