Remote Position; however, candidates must reside within the sales territory which encompasses FL, GA, NC, SC, TN, AL, MS.
Individual Contributor Role. We seek a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager for Savant Power.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for achieving revenue targets within the assigned region.
- Execute sales programs and initiatives focused on driving power product sales to the distribution channel, and new account adoption.
- Support sales of power products to accounts (residential energy contractors). Educate them on smart power options, incentives, and installation.
- Create and execute strategic sales plans to secure new business, boost revenue growth, and surpass sales targets.
- Educate installers, developers, builders, and specifiers on the advantages and return on investment of incorporating power monitoring and management systems. Support their clients at national and local events.
- Articulate the scalability of Savant solutions, from entry-level monitoring to whole-home microgrids. Recommend a suitable solution for each project.
- Analyze market trends, competitive solutions, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth and product enhancements.
- Identify, pitch, and win new business within the energy channel by pursuing leads, finding mutual contacts, and actively searching for new opportunities daily.
- Generate detailed and actionable reports on account performance, sales quotas, and activity benchmarks.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in energy storage, energy management, or renewable energy channels, including experience in the planning and construction process.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, or 5+ years of B2B sales experience.
- Proficiency in sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Ability to foster and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills; excellent listening skills.
- Strong software skills, including Keynote/PowerPoint, iPad/iPhone applications, webinar platforms, etc.
- Adaptability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Self-motivated, high energy, and enthusiastic.
- Ability to work a variable schedule with 25% monthly travel.
- Experience with ERP and CRM software.
Compensation: Competitive base salary and an aggressive, uncapped commission opportunity. Starting pay based on skills, experience, education, location, and market conditions.
