Job Details

Serve as the primary point of contact for new machine enquiries in the UK region.

Manage technical-commercial aspects for Horizontal, Secondary and Vertical portfolio within the food business.

Prospect geographic zone, find new leads, and follow up on Industry Campaigns.

Present new enquiries to the back office, ensuring all necessary data is available.

Negotiate and close deals, maintaining responsibility until equipment is transferred to local Services team.

Identify needs for new equipment among existing and potential customers.

Monitor market trends and competitors within the defined sales area.

Participate in trade fairs and customer visits, submitting timely reports.

Collaborate closely with internal departments locally and abroad.

Manage customers, leads, and opportunities within the Syntegon CRM tool.

Handle contract negotiations with support from manager and back offices.

Ensure sales margins meet targets and follow up on technical documents and payments.

Maintain close collaboration with Services colleagues for long-term customer satisfaction.

Your competencies and qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience in capital sales of packaging equipment, preferably in the dry food industry.
  • Knowledge of Horizontal, Secondary and Vertical Packaging, with experience in value selling techniques.
  • Excellent customer management and interpersonal skills, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Team player with an open-book mentality.
  • Relevant engineering background (degree not mandatory).
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office suite.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and within Europe up to 60% of the time.
