Full-Time Regional Trade Operations Lead

Regional Trade Operations Lead supporting structure and development of existing and new IMPEX departments in the Logistics Region APAC, ensuring smooth import and export operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow-up regional Trade Operations and related performance KPIs (inbound, outbound, returns, DC moves).
• Define and follow-up regional Trade operational goals and priorities.
• Define and follow-up regional Trade budget, including finance and report control for all IMPEX.
• Lead regional trade security & risk management programs.
• Support new initiatives and projects related to trade operation.
• Lead collaboration with IMPEX teams, including follow-up on Trade operations and KPIs (takt, cost).
• Support and coach IMPEX Managers on Import cargo management, IMPEX issues (missing cargo, insurance), customs documents, customer clearance, trade service providers, invoice control, re-export handling.
• Support establishing/strengthening IMPEX teams based on expansions.
• Coordinate regional Inland Haulage (port to DC) Transport Operations and related performance.
• Monitor customs formalities for compliance.
• Lead activities to improve Trade operational excellence and compliance, balancing cost, service levels, and sustainability.
• Support Trade related procurements.
• Follow-up Trade suppliers on KPIs and compliance, highlighting trends and problems.
• Monitor Product Classification Data quality (HS codes).
• Stay up-to-date on global logistics status, KPIs, issues, and risks.
• Identify sustainability opportunities and challenges.
• Experience in customs clearance of products.
• Experience in IMPEX or Transit department.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, be pragmatic, and flexible.
• Good communication, figure-minded, IT knowledge (SAP, KL, Microsoft office).
• Leading team experience, coaching, result-driven skills.
• Experience in managing multiple countries and cultures.

• Full-time position.
• Location: Kunshan or Shanghai, China.
• Travel required.
