We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Resort Manager for our luxurious property in Morocco, United States.
As the Resort Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of resort operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations (front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance)
- Develop and implement strategic plans for revenue and profitability
- Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of hospitality professionals
- Create and maintain budgets, financial reports, and performance metrics
- Collaborate with sales & marketing teams to develop promotional strategies
- Plan and coordinate special events showcasing local culture
- Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with local Moroccan regulations and American hospitality standards
- Continuously improve resort facilities, services, and guest experiences
- Foster a positive work environment promoting teamwork and cultural diversity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in hotel or resort management, preferably luxury
- Proven track record in financial management and budgeting
- Strong leadership skills, ability to motivate and develop staff (multicultural setting)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in hospitality management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Moroccan hospitality industry and local regulations
- Understanding of American hospitality standards and best practices
- Experience in marketing, sales, and revenue management
- Ability to make decisive decisions and solve complex problems
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic and/or French is a plus
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences and drive customer satisfaction
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Visionary approach to resort management and innovation in guest services
