Job Details

AFAR is seeking a Revenue Operations Manager to drive growth in travel media. This role supports the Sales team with tools, systems, and insights to drive revenue and scale success, reporting to the VP, Publisher.
What You'll Do
  • Own our CRM (Boostr): Maintain cleanliness, accuracy, and power through audits, data hygiene improvements, and workflow automation.
  • Segment and prioritize accounts: Focus seller time on valuable opportunities using data-driven outreach strategies.
  • Optimize the sales pipeline: Support reviews, improve forecasting, and expedite deals with better stage management and processes.
  • Build smart reporting: Create dashboards and reports for Sales and Finance to enhance visibility for decision-making.
  • Streamline sales operations: Document the full sales process to reduce friction, like automating lead routing or setting up renewal triggers.
  • Partner on playbooks and enablement: Collaborate with Marketing to build messaging, templates, and tools for confident selling.
  • Lead strategic projects: Develop databases and territory plans to turn big ideas into action.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or CRM Administration (media, advertising, or digital publishing preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of CRM systems (Boostr a plus), pipeline forecasting, reporting tools (Excel, Looker, Google Sheets), and sales enablement practices.
  • Strong communicator with a bias toward action, attention to detail, and cross-functional ability.
  • Skilled at balancing strategic thinking with day-to-day execution.
  • Experience in account segmentation, territory planning, and marketing-to-sales funnel design is a strong plus.
  • Passion for travel, marketing, or media is a bonus.

  • Segmenting 500+ sales accounts into usable priority tiers.
  • Creating a universal database of endemic travel accounts to grow advertising revenue.
  • Building a lead nurture strategy for accounts not yet in the pipeline.
  • Supporting smarter territory planning and vertical-specific outreach.
