The Sales Director (SD) role involves sales and team management, reporting to the Director of Sales.
Responsibilities include:
- Hiring, training, and mentoring a team of Account Executives.
- Growing StackAdapt's customer presence in Western Canada.
- Managing and leading a team of 4-8 Account Executives.
- Weekly 1:1 meetings with AEs for coaching and mentoring.
- Pitching clients, both in-person and virtually, alongside the AE team.
- Leveraging sales enablement tools (Salesloft, Gong, Salesforce) for improved team performance.
- Traveling with AEs to support business growth and closings.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for process improvements.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience as an Account Executive, followed by 3+ years as a sales manager.
- Strong understanding of programmatic media, agency/brand media buying, and the competitive landscape.
- Proven experience in leading change management initiatives.
- Successful track record selling to agencies and brands at a DSP (or other ad platform).
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor teams.
- Strong client relationship skills (first point of escalation).
- Proven cross-functional experience.
