Full-Time Sales Manager

Newspack is seeking an experienced sales manager to drive lead generation, support partnership managers, and help shape sales strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day sales and revenue operations.
• Work with the team to evolve sales and growth strategies.
• Qualify prospects to ensure a good fit.
• Help sales leadership and partnership managers move prospects through the sales pipeline and maintain a steady deal flow.
• Facilitate weekly sales forecasting meetings.
• Identify potential prospects via industry conferences, sponsorship opportunities, email marketing and content marketing campaigns.
• Work with business leads to increase Newspack’s visibility across the industry.
• Represent Newspack at industry events.
• Maintain sales and marketing collateral.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated sales and marketing experience with proven results.
• Strong sense of organization and follow-through, comfortable with strategic planning and daily operations.
• Ability to take initiative, be proactive, and drive business results without supervision.
• Excellent planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication of complex ideas, verbally and in writing.

Preferred:

• Experience with/interest in news and publishing.
• Experience creating or managing collateral materials (pitch decks, etc.).
• WordPress experience (content management, marketing or publishing).

Salary: $90,000-$130,000 USD
