We are looking for an ambitious sales achiever to join this leading manufacturer in CSST and help shape gas installations of the future.
Role Purpose: To develop and manage all sales activities relating to the growth of the company’s sales. To develop and sustain business in key strategic countries whilst maximising margins and increasing profitability for the company.
Key Responsibilities: Forge relationships with M&E Contractors and Consultants to promote our brand, gain specification, and drive sales. Work closely with supporting merchants to help grow the business, and offer support & training to Merchants and Gas Installers.
- 70% Contractor/Consultant calls
- 30% Merchant calls
- Monthly pipeline report of ongoing projects and stages of progression
Experience: Field Sales experience in HVAC sector. Basic knowledge of heating systems. Experience selling to M&E Contractors, M&E Consultants, and Plumbing Merchants. Understanding of back-selling and driving product requirement through specification. Proven track record of business development and sales growth. Technically competent to discuss engineered solutions with customer engineers.
Skills & Qualifications: High level of business acumen, preferably with a technical qualification or 5+ years’ experience in similar roles. Proven marketing management with tangible outcomes. Excellent communication, influence, and negotiation skills. Confident, self-motivated, and driven to succeed. Excellent people management skills, good English language skills (written & oral). Computer literate.
Further Responsibilities: Develop and maintain an annual sales budget for the region. Actively market solutions. Support marketing activities. Use market intelligence to identify opportunities. Secure new accounts/sales opportunities. Communicate regularly with customers and represent them within the company. Negotiate contracts. Work with internal teams to monitor selling price, cost price, margin, turnover, and market share. Develop and sustain a project portfolio and monthly progress report. Monitor customer satisfaction. Ensure timely responses to customer enquiries. Liaise with internal departments for customer concerns/business opportunities. Complete monthly sales forecast and activity reports. Attend appropriate team meetings and participate in technical committees when necessary. Encourage and convince end-users and EPCs to specify company products.
