Manage the sales territory and be responsible for achieving ambitious sales targets and ensuring strong customer satisfaction.
Responsible for the full sales process from prospecting to closing and hand off to the project delivery teams.
The company has a leading market share and sales will come from both existing base as well as new customers.
The Sales Manager will have charge of daily sales activities continuing to achieve ambitious sales targets and build a sustainable pipeline of future opportunities.
Ensure all enquiries is recorded on the CRM system in an accurate and timely fashion.
Monthly, quarterly and annual sale forecasting accuracy is important.
A consultative and complex sales model requires deep customer relationships, an understanding of customers business models and how to match where our high technology processing solutions can add value, financial benefit and differentiation.
The ‘voice of the customer’ is critical to what we do.
The Sales Manager must listen, understand market and customer needs, and ensure we bring added value in addressing those needs.
Where possible the Sales Manager should devise an action plan or otherwise highlight the opportunity to the organization for future development.
Critical that Sales Managers fosters deep relationships across multiple levels of the customers organization generating trust, high customer engagement and credibility.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for providing detailed local market intelligence (trends, competitors, etc.) to work into our planning.
Marketing & promotion. Plan and liaise with colleagues on trade show / congress selection and attendance, social media content, speaking events and media and PR events to support our branding and growth ambitions.
Be the champion to ensure customer satisfaction within the territory.
Develop and execute 1-3 plans for the territory and assist on building of rolling 5-year strategic plans for growth.
This includes identifying new opportunities for development.
Must be a self-starter and able to work under own initiative.
B.S. in Business, Economics, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in selling large capital industrial equipment and managing large sales areas.
Knowledge of and selling to the waste and recycling industry is an advantage.
Strong knowledge and network within regional waste and recycling categories is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal in English) and interpersonal skills.
Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
Ability to work in customer waste and recycling plants and outside in high/low temperatures.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 50 - 70%% of the time.
