We are looking for an experienced Sales Operations Manager to manage and optimize sales processes, data systems, and compensation structures.
This role will oversee Sales Operations, ensuring seamless integration between sales tools and business operations.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience utilizing CRMs, be highly analytical, and capable of designing and optimizing sales compensation programs.
Reporting to the Head of Revenue, the Sales Operations Lead will ensure that sales operations, systems, and processes support the sales team and overall business objectives.
Technical Skills:
- Leverage Salesforce and other internal tools to pull sales data and provide insights to the Head of Revenue.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track sales performance, pipeline health, and key metrics.
- Identify and use tools that streamline sales operations, such as sales enablement platforms or forecasting tools.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Drive impactful decisions by analyzing large datasets from multiple sources, transforming them into actionable insights for sales leadership.
- Manage initiatives that scale sales operations as the company grows, ensuring systems and processes remain efficient, adaptable, and scalable.
- Continuously assess the efficiency and effectiveness of sales processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Collaborate to ensure sales strategies align with overall company goals, helping achieve revenue targets.
- Ensure the right sales resources (people, tools, data) align with company goals, optimizing for maximum sales productivity.
Communication and Influence:
- Articulate complex data, insights, and strategies clearly to executives and senior leadership.
- Actively communicate with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment between various teams (Finance and HR).
- Lead communication of process or system changes within the sales team, ensuring smooth transition and team buy-in.
- Regularly communicate with Sales leadership to ensure the sales team has the necessary tools, resources, and processes to succeed.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or a related field, with a strong focus on Salesforce and data analytics.
- Proven experience in designing sales compensation plans.
- Expertise in leveraging CRMs and other tools to track, analyze, and report on sales performance.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing a Sales Operations team.
