Job Details
Purpose: Implement export controls and sanctions law within the Robert Bosch network globally, and translate to regional levels. Acts as an extension of the global team.
Responsibilities:
- Compliance with global and national export control regulations.
- Monitor and track proposed rule changes, communicate impact, and provide mitigation solutions.
- Implement and monitor Bosch Global Standards and Procedures, adapting to national processes.
- Consult on all Export Control related questions in the US.
- Monitor business activities, review and release business models/transactions.
- Steering and support of internal and external audits.
- Export license process (determination, submissions, monitoring).
- Review and audit US Export Control Classification.
- Monitor national export control law changes and align with the global team.
- Evaluate deemed export transactions.
- Review and update Export Control contract clauses/language in agreements/NDAs/quotes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 8+ years relevant experience.
- 5+ years experience with export control in North America (EAR and OFAC).
- Advise internal customers on regional and global policies/processes.
- SAP/GTS knowledge (or equivalent).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work across all levels and with cross-functional teams.
- Strong team player, customer orientation, communication (written/verbal), organization, and prioritization.
- Solution-oriented approach.
- CES or CUSECO certification.
- Background in Software, Technology Transfer, Semiconductors a plus.
- Legal background and ITR contract knowledge a plus.
- Knowledge of Canadian Export Control regulations a plus.
Salary: $104,000 - $124,000 (USD) per year.
