About the Role: The Senior HR Business Partner provides operational HR services and advice to support Equip's objectives. This role is an internal consultant on people-related matters like employee relations, performance management, and talent planning.
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily guidance to leaders on People needs (employee relations, performance, team dynamics, conflict resolution, career development).
- Mentor leaders to resolve employee relations or performance issues efficiently.
- Manage complex employee relations and performance issues.
- Conduct thorough, objective investigations.
- Improve employee relationships, build morale and engagement, increase productivity and retention, in partnership with leadership.
- Advise leaders on hiring and workforce planning, aligning with organizational strategy.
- Enable successful performance management programs.
- Develop and collect People data and reporting to analyze trends and inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure compliance with programming, initiatives, and policies.
- Own and execute special projects.
- Understand Equip's financial position, objectives, culture, and competition.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years HR Business Partner experience in a high-growth organization.
- PHR, SPHR or other HR certification.
- Experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Strong knowledge of HR disciplines (compensation, employee relations, DEI, performance management, relevant employment laws).
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills; building relationships with leaders, understanding needs, offering solutions, and following up.
- Self-starter, process improvement experience.
- Excellent organizational, time management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Google Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
