As a Senior Manager of Sales you will enable the success of our existing Account Executives supporting an inbound and outbound sales motion and play a major part in building the future of the sales team. We’ve witnessed rapid growth in our customer base and a huge part of this is due to a team of highly successful and ambitious Account Executives. We are looking for someone to lead the most successful segment of our sales org while working with the rest of our sales leadership team to accelerate growth.
What you’ll do
- Recruit, hire, and manage a team of successful Account Executives.
- Coach and enable your team of Account Executives.
- Manage strategy and have operational responsibility for your business segment.
- Define and deliver metrics for success to the sales leadership team.
- Drive strong outbound pipeline generation.
- Support Account Executives by sitting in on prospective client meetings + calls.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing and Product teams to provide customer feedback.
- Develop a plan for focusing this team (territories, marketing plan, etc)
What you’ll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- 6+ years of sales experience with a focus on mid-market accounts.
- 4+ years of experience in a sales management or leadership role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience working with complex selling motions, working across a number of functions such as pre-sales and legal.
- Experience in working collaboratively across functions and geos.
- Strong understanding of the digital experience analytics industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrable experience in working with a Rev Ops organization to drive organizational excellence
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
