As the Sr. Manager, Renewal Strategy & Operations, you will play a critical role in driving overall customer satisfaction, retention, and growth by developing and executing effective renewals strategies.
Focus on enhancing operational efficiency through process optimization, data analysis, and forecasting, while fostering cross-functional collaboration for a seamless customer experience.
Renewal Strategy and Process Design
- Develop a holistic renewal management strategy (policies, workflows, escalation paths).
- Map the end-to-end renewal lifecycle.
- Identify areas for improvement (contract terms, communication).
- Analyze renewal and churn data to identify success/challenges.
- Share renewal best practices across the organization.
Forecasting and Risk Management
- Partner with Sales Leadership and Finance to refine renewal forecasting.
- Create and maintain reports/dashboards (renewal pipeline, churn risk).
- Drive visibility for at-risk renewals and timely intervention.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies for large accounts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Liaise with Product, Finance and GTM leadership for pricing/packaging changes.
- Collaborate with Legal and Deal Desk for contract compliance.
- Perform opportunity pipeline analysis.
- Develop content for GTM Enablement and Sales.
Requirements
- 8+ years in Renewals or GTM Operations (technology/subscription-based industries).
- Proven ability to drive process improvements.
- Exceptional analytical, quantitative skills.
- Experience tackling open-ended problems, leveraging data.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Engage stakeholders and drive consensus.
- Familiarity with SaaS GTM tools (Salesforce, Catalyst, Aviso).
