At Rome2Rio and Omio, we're launching a premium advertising business connecting our global audience with top travel brands. We're seeking a Senior Sales Manager in Europe. You'll report to the Managing Director, Advertising.
What you'll do:
- Own and grow direct ad sales in EMEA & APAC, focusing on premium travel and tourism brands.
- Build and manage a pipeline of high-value advertisers (DMOs, hotels, rail operators, airlines, agencies).
- Partner with Product, Marketing, Ad Ops, and Data to launch creative campaigns.
- Represent Rome2Rio at industry events.
- Share market and client insights to shape strategy and ad products.
- Collaborate with the Americas Sales Manager for a global sales approach.
What We're Looking For:
- 6-10 years experience in digital advertising or media sales, ideally in travel & tourism.
- Strong commercial instinct and proven track record of closing high-impact deals.
- Confidence in client conversations, relationship building, and managing a dynamic pipeline.
- A builder mindset, comfortable creating structure where it doesn't exist.
- A collaborative communicator thriving in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
- Hands-on experience selling into EMEA and/or APAC.
- Bonus Points: Knowledge of programmatic, native, and performance-based media. Fluency in other languages.
