As Senior Engineer, Outside Plant Construction Management, your responsibilities include overseeing timely material orders, shipments, expediting, and reporting on material statuses, transportation, receipt, and protection (garaging) of Brightspeed inventory. You will develop and maintain processes and detailed reporting to validate materials ordered matched the IQGEO Bill of Materials (BOM). You'll track and approve IQGEO invoicing during construction closeout. Your role ensures seamless material oversight to meet FTTH build targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee timely issuance of material orders, shipments, expediting, and reporting.
- Develop and maintain processes and detailed reporting to validate material deliveries against the IQGEO BOM.
- Track and approve IQGEO invoicing for construction closeout.
- Maintain a forward-looking posture for material needs 6-12 months in advance.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Logistics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 5-8 years of related experience.
- Experience with OSP engineering and construction, material oversight.
- Experience managing large, multi-state projects.
- Strong supply chain, logistics, and invoicing knowledge.
- Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving and execution skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in outside plant conditions.
