Senior Engineer, Outside Plant (OSP) Construction Management

Responsibilities:

• Oversee timely issuance of material orders, shipments, expediting, and reporting material statuses, transportation, receipt, and protection (garaging) of Brightspeed inventory.
• Develop and maintain processes and detailed reporting to validate all materials ordered were delivered per the IQGEO BOM.
• Track and approve IQGEO invoicing as construction closeout tickets are reviewed and approved.
• Provide end-to-end materials oversight to meet FTTH build schedule targets.
• Maintain a forward-looking posture and partner with Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Logistics to provide strategic material needs 6-12 months in advance.
• Coordinate related projects like Rural Digital Opportunity Fund (RDOF) opportunities.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or 5-8 years of directly related experience
• Experience with OSP engineering and construction processes, material oversight
• Experience managing large multi-state projects
• Experience working with municipalities and utility partners
• Experience managing larger regional infrastructure services vendors
• Leading and executing multiple, simultaneous business transformation and process changes
• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and invoicing processes
• Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and execution skills in driving transformation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
• Ability to work in outside plant conditions
