Full-Time Senior Product Manager - Smart Lighting

Summary Of Position The Senior Product Manager (SPM) is accountable for guiding the strategic growth and overall direction of the Smart Lighting category. This role collaborates across multiple functions to develop new product strategies and enhance the existing portfolio. Success requires strong leadership capabilities and proven experience managing product lines in a fast-paced, cross-functional setting. The SPM will drive sales growth and meet margin targets for the product line.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to cross-functional teams in the development, launch, and commercialization of new products, and ongoing management of existing offerings.
• Manage the full product lifecycle, from initial concept to market launch and phase-out.
• Define and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies.
• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and Total Cost Out (TCO) initiatives.
• Assess consumer, customer, and competitive insights to identify market needs and opportunities.
• Utilize data-driven insights to segment the market, shape product strategy, and define differentiated customer value propositions.
• Collaborate with marketing to develop and optimize sales enablement materials.
• Contribute to product line performance reviews.
• Own and drive key financial metrics (revenue, margin, cost targets) for sustained business growth.
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, product quality, and project outcomes.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant product management experience
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong consumer product/Smart Home experience is preferred
• High energy, motivated individual with a strong sense of personal accountability and initiative
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong presentation skills and financial acumen
• Demonstrated capabilities in influencing, facilitation, and change management
• Outstanding organizational and analytical skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative environment
• Passion for product innovation and emerging technologies

Compensation

• Direct-hire position with full benefits (medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, paid vacation, 401k with match)
• $120,000 salary
