Head of Regional Marketing for Mature Markets is responsible for leading and executing marketing strategies to drive customer engagement, retention, and revenue expansion. This role focuses on deepening customer relationships, expanding existing accounts, and positioning the company as a long-term partner.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies tailored to mature markets, focusing on customer retention and account expansion.
- Define and oversee region-specific marketing plans to support revenue growth.
- Develop demand generation marketing plans.
- Utilize global campaign toolkits for mature market audiences. This includes events, strategic partnerships, email campaigns, digital marketing, and account-based marketing (ABM).
- Partner with customer engagement and product marketing teams on developing end-to-end campaigns.
- Partner with regional sales leadership to ensure marketing strategies support expansion and retention goals.
- Provide sales and customer success teams with tools, content, and insights.
- Align with corporate marketing teams to adapt and localize campaigns.
- Develop, manage, and optimize the regional marketing budget.
- Monitor key customer metrics (usage, retention, churn, satisfaction, lifetime value).
- Use data-driven insights to refine strategies continually.
- Deploy regional customer advocacy programs, leveraging success stories.
- Promote thought leadership through content, events, webinars, and industry events.
- Develop a framework for competitive analysis and customer insights.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement innovative strategies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop an international regional marketing team.
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years in marketing, with 2+ years in leadership.
- Proven experience in customer lifecycle marketing, retention, and account expansion.
- Strong understanding of mature markets.
- Experience managing and mentoring diverse, global teams.
- Expertise in digital marketing and ABM strategies.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Salesforce).
- Ability to work across global time zones.
Preferred Location: Europe (UK) or US.
