The opportunity: As a Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in winning direct customers and growing Incognia's business. You'll own the technical relationship and represent Incognia's innovative solutions with top brands. You will drive all technical sales efforts from initial diligence through proof of value and onboarding. You'll also play a crucial role in expanding Incognia's business through strategic partnerships.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
- Technical trusted advisor to customers, including technical diligence, proof of value (POV), product support, and SDK/API integration.
- Partner with Engineering, Data Science, Product, and Marketing to win deals, improve solutions, and expand.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations communicating POV results.
- Customer SME internally (Product, Engineering, Data Science, Marketing) combining technical insights and customer understanding.
- Drive technical aspects of strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with Customer Success for smooth transitions.
- Keep up with product updates and the broader identity/security ecosystem.
Previous experience/knowledge: Authentication, biometrics, anti-fraud, digital identity, cybersecurity, or mobile technologies. Proven work experience as a Sales Engineer or technical Customer Success. Technical background in software/API integration, backend/full stack, mobile (Android/iOS), or SQL.
Skills: Strong client-facing and communication skills, ability to explain complex concepts. Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication. Good organizational, time management, and troubleshooting/code review skills. Early stage company experience.
