About the Role: Senior Test Engineers are critical in ensuring quality in our healthcare technology. You will be responsible for empowering teams, advising on best practices, and contributing to the implementation of new testing frameworks and tools. You will play a vital role in the quality and reliability of our software applications.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes through automation and efficiency gains.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand software architecture and design.
- Develop test practices and strategies for both manual and automated testing.
- Maintain test cases for regulatory evidence.
- Create systems to gather testing evidence across the product landscape.
- Ensure understanding and minimize regulatory/compliance burden.
- Execute manual test scripts as needed for regulatory purposes.
- Research and advocate for better alternatives.
- Balance speed and quality to enable smooth delivery.
- Identify risks and issues and advise on solutions.
- Improve testing processes without creating bottlenecks.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends.
- Educate and upskill engineers to promote a quality-first mindset.
About You:
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with Git and continuous integration tools (e.g., GitHub Actions).
- Understanding of fundamental technological differences (e.g., Android/iOS, application authentication).
- Experience in test automation with popular tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright).
- Ability to advocate for, recommend, and explain different approaches, tools, and technology.
- Experience leading testing ceremonies and presentations.
- Strong communication and coaching skills.
- Nice to have: Experience in health tech regulatory and compliance, fast-paced startups.
