Job Details

Business Development Manager for our Moen brand. Develop a market strategy focused on national and regional single-family home builders in Southern California.

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve annual sales plan, contributing to annual plan attainment.
  • Collaborate with Regional Manager on non-single-family market strategy.
  • Expand relationships with top builders and increase market share.
  • Mentor Territory Managers in BDM skills.
  • Partner with Territory Managers on targets and conversion goals.
  • Develop professional relationships between strategic builders.
  • Maximize Moen product portfolio use with single-family builders.
  • Drive SAM generated specifications for national companies.
  • Improve field effectiveness and efficiencies using technology.
  • Assist Regional Manager in maximizing sales potential.
  • Develop and present fact-based business cases to decision-makers.
  • Manage budgets for existing business and increased sales.
  • Monitor and report business trends, distribution, consumer/trade attitudes, competitive practices, and product performance.
  • Maximize sales opportunities with strategic customers.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of outside field sales experience.
  • Contract negotiation skills with key accounts.
  • Understanding of corporate environment, marketing, and product development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to maintain positive relationships with all Moen customers.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Analyze market conditions, competition, and develop strategic responses.
  • Ability to travel and work non-standard hours.
