Position Overview: The role partners with global Supply Chain, Finance, and Products teams to communicate demand profiles and product strategy with supply chain capacity and constraints. Establishes and evolves monthly rhythms to analyze demand gaps and monitor finished goods/raw material inventory at the product line and plant level. Identifies and reports key risks/opportunities to management, implementing a world-class Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Responsibilities:
- Owns, develops, and evolves the monthly Supply Chain Review (SCR) for the F&M product line, integrating forecast data with Supply Chain capacities, identifying production/supply constraints, and risks/opportunities for a 24-month rolling consensus plan.
- Delivers clear and timely unconstrained demand forecasts from Commercial Demand Reviews (CDRs), supply strategies, and business priorities from Product Portfolio Reviews (PPRs) to Supply Chain for 24-month plan execution.
- Forecasts finished goods inventory at the plant level based on the rolling 24-month plan.
- Monitors KPIs related to inventory, safety stocks, and lead times, creating transparent communication of historical information, future targets, and results for accountability.
- Leads engagement with Supply Chain, Procurement, and other Business Leaders to communicate the consensus Supply Plan and associated risks/opportunities to stakeholders for timely decision-making.
- Engages with Product Management and other stakeholders quarterly for input on changing product strategies, NPI, and other initiatives.
- Provides feedback and monitors KPIs related to strategic initiatives and gaps between Strategy and the 24-month rolling consensus Supply Plan.
- Supports Product Management, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders in the annual Product Line Medium Term Plan development and maintenance.
- Plays a role in proposal and fulfillment priority escalations, working with stakeholders in the Commercial Team and CFS to align with business priorities.
- Partners with support functions to implement data, systems, and process improvements for forecasting/planning.
Collaboration and Communication: Promotes respectful communication and collaboration with all applicable employees across regions.
Performance Metrics and KPIs: Meets milestones for Supply, Consensus, and Strategic Planning for the F&M Product Line, driving accountability and results through KPIs.
Risk Management: Identifies potential risks in the Product Line Supply Plan related to Demand and Strategy. Proposes risk mitigation strategies and engages with leadership to drive action.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, focusing on value stream optimization.
- Certifications/continuing education in trade associations (e.g., ASCM, IBF, ISM)
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performance teams.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong ability to drive cross-functional rhythms and accountability.
- Proficient in communicating data-driven insights for decision-making.
Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Languages: Fluent in English. Additional languages (e.g., French, Portuguese, Hungarian, Mandarin) desired.
Travel: Occasional travel (25%-50%) required.
