As a Sr Account Manager, you will lead the tactical execution of integrated and digital marketing plans, maintaining a strong understanding of the agency/client relationship.
You will be responsible for developing and incorporating strategic planning skills within the broader scope of account management.
As the primary contact for clients, you will oversee campaign and project plan development, providing daily support on broader strategic efforts with the Account Supervisor and/or Account Director.
You will be accountable for identifying and meeting client needs, aligning with internal processes to ensure the successful initiation, management, and execution of all initiatives. This includes leading client presentations, facilitating internal project meetings, and actively contributing to a large account team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic projects (Website, ISA) and reporting initiatives (weekly/monthly dashboards).
- Responsible for the finished product/service – from project plans to regulatory and client reviews.
- Track project budgets, managing scope with AS and AD.
- Critical thinking skills, understanding client business and strategic objectives.
- Day-to-day client contact in the absence of a Supervisor or Director.
- Prepare client proposal decks and quotations.
- Proactive business opportunities with existing clients and prospects.
- Mentor junior team members, ensuring flawless client submissions and agency best practices.
- Adhere to agency policies and required compliance practices.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong marketing and advertising experience, expertise in digital and print execution, understanding of marketing/digital strategy, media, and technology.
- Strong client relations skills with proven customer satisfaction.
- Proven ability to manage projects to successful and collaborative completion.
- Written Project Briefs aligned with client assignments.
- Co-author Creative Briefs, activate internal teams against projects.
- Experienced with financials (estimate reviews, project health, revenue tracking).
- Confident, clear, and effective presentation skills.
- Team player with strong mentoring skills.
- Professionalism and etiquette in remote meetings.
- Constantly curious, questioning why.
- Control and composure under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Client point person for small conflict resolution.
- Manage direct conversations with cross-functional team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree ideally in communication/marketing, economy, biology/pharmacy, or other scientific pathway.
- 5-7 years of related experience (client-side brand team, consultative, advertising agency, or pharmaceutical experience).
Compensation: Base salary range $97,000 to $136,000 (US only)
