Position OverviewNevados seeks an accomplished and driven Sr. Sales Manager with extensive experience in the distributed generation (DG) solar sector. In this strategic role, you'll lead sales efforts for distributed solar generation projects, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the growth and leadership of the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships.
- Build and manage a network of developers, EPCs, and engineers.
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts, exceeding annual sales targets.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to optimize projects.
- Represent Nevados at industry events.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives.
- Partner with Sales and Business Development teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years sales/business development experience in renewable energy.
- 2+ years solar project development, construction, pre-construction, or estimation.
- 1+ years in a senior customer-facing role.
- Proven B2B sales success, ideally in solar or renewable energy.
- Expertise in distributed generation, solar project economics, and energy policy.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Articulate technical and financial solutions to diverse audiences.
- Highly motivated and results-driven.
- Comfortable with frequent travel.
- Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
