Your CareerThe Strategic Account Manager partners with our customers to secure their entire digital experience. You are motivated to solve critical challenges facing our customer's secure environment, connecting them with solutions for every stage of threat prevention. This role drives company revenue and growth.

Your Impact

  • Own revenue expansion within Palo Alto Networks' largest customer(s).
  • Drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles, working with internal partners and teams to best serve customers.
  • Identify business challenges and create compelling solutions through consultative selling.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to effectively position Palo Alto Networks' portfolio.
  • Create clear goals, accurate forecasting, and a detailed territory plan.
  • Leverage prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition with insights into account-specific value.
  • Stay updated on industry news and trends, and how they affect Palo Alto Networks' products and services.
  • Travel as necessary within your remit.

Your Experience

  • Successful track record selling complex solutions to global/strategic enterprises.
  • Hunter mentality.
  • Experience and knowledge of Cloud/SaaS-based architectures, ideally in networking and/or security.
  • Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with partners (system integrators, resellers, consultancies, ISVs).
  • Lead all aspects of the sales cycle (uncover, qualify, develop, close big tickets and unlock new growth opportunities).
  • Successful track record making/exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong English and German language proficiency, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
