Job Details
Acts as liaison between customer, sales, and production facilities across the platform.
Plan and coordinate the production of client jobs to meet service agreement objectives, customer expectations, company policy, and profit/quality requirements.
Apply understanding of customer business needs to build relationships, monitor satisfaction, and provide consulting with RR Donnelley sales.
Primary point of contact for customer-required services across all locations.
- Apply knowledge of customer business to partner with sales in assessing and developing processes for service quality and solutions development.
- Communicate requirements to internal/external production/service providers.
- Provide solutions, develop pricing, and provide/revise job requirements to Planning.
- Partner with Sales to develop and execute strategic customer plans and build contract provisions.
- Manage high-profile, complex accounts across multiple plants/external providers.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements to boost quality, satisfaction, productivity, and lower costs.
- Oversee production from point of sale to final delivery, analyzing customer requirements.
- Review customer requirements for platform capabilities and provide efficient/economical alternatives.
- Enter orders, issue/revise instructions for manufacturing.
- Coordinate delivery of customer-supplied and other materials.
- Maintain communication with customer, sales, and manufacturing, providing job status updates.
- Facilitate resolution of production problems and conduct service recovery.
- Provide leadership, development, and procedural assistance to junior Account Specialists.
- Ensure needed resources/tools are available.
- Maintain knowledge of operating procedures, policies, and instructions.
- Ensure work schedules are covered during absences.
- Check work to ensure sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines are met.
- Report status/progress/delays to supervisor.
- Answer supervisor questions on work operations/problems.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 5+ years of experience.
- Identify critical elements, variables, and alternatives to develop solutions.
- Organize/prioritize resources and incorporate new information.
- Communicate clearly and courteously.
- Apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills.
- Utilize Microsoft Windows, MAC, or other technical tools.
- Apply expertise in all tools used.
- Mentor junior team members in tools/systems.
- Excellent communication skills; clear and easy-to-understand language.
- Modify communication style to match audience.
- Understand message impact on organization/customer.

Salary: $62,800 - $111,400/year (location-dependent).
