The Strategic Account Manager, Multi-Family, is responsible for driving growth and profitability. Develops and executes sales plans including market analysis, account strategies, and measurable outcomes.
Cultivates strong relationships with key decision-makers to retain existing business, secure new specifications, and enhance margins.
Works collaboratively with customers to understand business drivers, leveraging Outdoors’ full portfolio of products and solutions.
Ensures customer satisfaction and drives strategic objectives by mobilizing internal resources and facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
Monitors market trends, competitive activities, and product performance, providing insights for organizational strategy and maximizing sales opportunities.
Location: Remote position with 60-70% travel expected.
What you will be doing:
- Develops and implements sales plans including market analysis, account opportunities, goals, strategic initiatives, and measurable outcomes.
- Creates Individual Account Plans (retention and new business).
- Makes specification recommendations by account/division.
- Develops sales strategies for all Outdoors products.
- Manages customer intimacy events and inventory management programs.
- Makes financial decisions impacting both Outdoors and the customer.
- Conducts sales and marketing promotions.
- Calls on and develops key relationships with decision-makers to retain existing business, secure new specifications, and improve margins.
- Understands the strategic account’s business and critical measures, collaborating with customers to gather strategic information and assess opportunities.
- Ensures action and responsiveness to the customer by mobilizing and leading the organization, facilitating involvement of other functional departments.
- Monitors and communicates business trends, distribution patterns, consumer/trade attitudes, competitive practices, and product performance.
- Orchestrates organizational resources to maximize sales opportunities.
