As a Strategic Accounts Manager, Single Family Builders for our Therma-Tru, Larson, and Fypon brands, you will drive growth and profit for the business.
Manage all interfaces with key accounts of our National Builders.
Ideal candidate has experience managing national accounts in building materials, developing business strategies, and building relationships with builder accounts. Ability to create professional, high-quality PowerPoint presentations is essential.
Location: This position is eligible for a remote schedule. Candidates must live within the Eastern half of the United States, ideally within driving distance of a major airport.
Travel Requirements: Candidates must be available to travel up to 50%.
Responsibilities (approximately 80% of the job):
- Direct account responsibility for National Builder locations in the eastern half of the United States.
- Implement National Builder Account strategy, communicating to all stakeholders (national builders, field sales, local trade partners).
- Coordinate with other National Account Managers and field sales to manage the strategy's implementation.
- Collaborate with Vice Presidents, National Accounts Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Field Sales, Marketing, and Financial teams to develop pricing and programs.
- Maximize growth and profitability of the National Builder Program.
- Lead all contract negotiations with National Builder Accounts.
- Develop and implement account plans for each key customer within the builder segment.
- Represent Therma-Tru, Fypon, Larson, and Fiberon at relevant national builder associations and conferences.
- Handle challenging conversations with customers regarding price improvements or program requirements.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience managing national accounts in building products.
- Familiarity with market forces affecting businesses and builders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Experience with account management and planning.
- Knowledge of generating and negotiating pull-thru programs.
- Experience managing and growing builder relationships and multi-step distribution processes.
- Proven track record of growing sales and driving results.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency in CRM (e.g., HubSpot)
Salary Range: $105,000 - $125,000 USD
