Supply Chain ESG Senior Program Manager
Drive ESG programs in supply chain, focusing on human rights, environmental standards, and sustainable practices. Stay current with global regulations, conduct gap assessments, and ensure compliance with standards like CSRD, CSDDD, RoHS, and REACH.
Oversee accurate reporting of supply chain compliance data, contributing to ESG and CSRD reports. Coordinate responses to customer and distributor inquiries.
Key responsibilities include embedding human rights due diligence, enhancing sustainability, and supporting company long-term ESG goals.
Develop and Lead ESG Programs
- Build and execute comprehensive ESG programs aligned with company's sustainability goals, focusing on human rights and environmental standards across the supply chain.
Regulatory Gap Assessments
- Conduct analyses between current processes and evolving regulatory standards (e.g., CSRD, CSDDD, ESG frameworks).
Monitor Global Regulations
- Stay updated with global regulations requiring lab testing, identifying changes impacting product compliance (e.g., RoHS, PFAS, REACH).
Sustainability & Human Rights
- Support implementation of initiatives focused on sustainability, including circular economy strategies and waste management.
- Ensure human rights due diligence is embedded across the value chain (ethical sourcing, fair labor practices, international standards).
- Conduct assessments to identify and close gaps between processes and international human rights frameworks, improving ethical practices.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to ESG compliance, human rights violations, and sustainability in the supply chain.
- Develop actionable strategies to address identified risks.
Supply Chain Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare detailed ESG reports, metrics, and insights for leadership and key decision-makers.
- Manage and maintain all compliance-related data, ensuring accurate, auditable documentation.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of supply chain inputs for the company's annual ESG report, coordinating with relevant teams.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and reporting related to the supply chain's role in the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is maintained and submitted.
Customer & Internal Requests
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding risk, compliance, and ESG matters, ensuring timely, consistent communication.
- Establish and manage processes to efficiently handle large-scale requests from distributors and internal stakeholders.
- Update internal tools with FAQs and key information to streamline customer/distributor responses.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in ESG, regulatory compliance, supply chain management, or ethical sourcing, focused on global regulations and sustainability.
- In-depth knowledge of global regulations (CSRD, CSDDD, RoHS, REACH, and emerging frameworks like PFAS restrictions).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive ESG initiatives.
- Experience managing complex projects with stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of human rights due diligence, ethical sourcing, and circular economy principles.
- Proven experience conducting regulatory gap assessments and implementing compliance strategies.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills to translate complex ESG/regulatory requirements into actionable strategies.
