A Day In The Life
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will be an integral part of our supply chain team, leading and managing our global marketplaces and stock locations. You'll be responsible for keeping optimum stock levels in line with projected growth, and managing new product launches.
Responsibilities
- Oversee forecasting and planning tools across marketplaces (Amazon, US, UK, Germany, Canada).
- Build strong relationships with Supply Chain contacts.
- Facilitate product launches, promotions, and seasonal planning.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and best practices.
- Support month-end reconciliation and work with Finance.
- Monitor and report on ageing stock.
- Support supplier production schedule alignment.
- Facilitate successful product launches and manage product launch with supplier.
- Communicate product launches to relevant teams and manage changes.
- Work with our US fulfilment partner and resolve stock issues.
- Work with the QA Team and Goods In to monitor quality issues.
- Review and approve invoices, and challenge suppliers if necessary.
- Support the set up of marketplaces in new markets and work closely with marketplace team for promotional sales.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in demand-focused supply chain planning.
- Experience with Amazon FBA.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes.
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships.
- Strong attention to detail and a drive to improve.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organized and analytical.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Intermediate MS Excel skills.
